oauth_problem=timestamp_refused&message=Timestamp has been refused

I am getting the following error in http response in salesforce apex, when I do an http post:
oauth_problem=timestamp_refused&message=Timestamp has been refused
Any pointers on how to fix it will be appreciated.

When I send a REST API http POST Request, the Response is 401 Unauthorized with the above mentioned error from OAuth2.0.
