PD2 certificate doubt

HI,

Do we get PD2 certificate if we attempt PD2 certification exam first and then complete superbadges or do we need to maintain the sequence compulsorily

There is no sequence, you can either complete superbadges first and exam later or vice versa but you need to complete both to complete PD2 certification.

In order to earn your Platform Developer II (PD2) certification, Salesforce requires you to complete the PD2 multiple-choice exam and also four superbadges on Trailhead. These superbadges are:

  1. Apex Specialist
  2. Data Integration Specialist
  3. Aura Components Specialist
  4. Advanced Apex Specialist

While you can technically complete these in any order, the certification itself isn't awarded until both the exam and all superbadges have been successfully completed. So you could take the PD2 exam first, then work on your superbadges, or vice versa. But remember, the certificate will only be awarded once you've ticked all the boxes.
