How to add custom welcome mat component into the salesforce

Hi,

I gone through this below articles even though I couldn't come to the process flow solution.

Can anyone explain step by step process that how to create this component manually or into the org and how to upload to the server ?

Hi Deepali,

my question is where to create the component (.Cmp or .html in to the org or will we create manually ? For
& how to upload the component in specific custom domain url? 


Hope you can understand my question and kindly letting you know i gone through both articles which is helpful for welcome mat development but my concerns is how to start ( creat the component) and end (host the component into the specific domian).

Hi Kumaravel,
Your welcome mat can include specific help resources from Salesforce or from your business. Make it even more personal by showing different welcome mats depending on several factors, like profile, language, or if the user has been automatically switched to Lightning Experience.
