Need help with picklist fields

All, 

So i created two custom objects let's say fruits (Grapes, Bananas, Mangoes and Apples). What i want to do is if i select an option "Apple".. it should show another field(Type of fruit: ") that should let me select ("Green Apple, "Red Apple"). How can i do this?

Hi Ishaque,

you need to create two pick list fields fruit and type of fruit and make type of fruit dependent on fruit field.

Hi Ishaque,
1. Create one picklist as fruits (Grapes, Bananas, Mangoes, and Apples).
2. Create Another picklist as SubType where add (Green Apple, Red Apple,etc.,)
3. After the creation of the picklist, go to the object field and select dependent picklist based on the Fruits.
4.Select subType value for fruits dependent picklist.
