Disable inline editing for custom object

Hello everyone, 
I do have advisor link product and there is a custom object called Appointment, what I need is disable inline editing for the custom object and enforce the users to use the reschedule button only in the community so I can prevent the student from changing the date without edit using the reschedule wizard.

I mean without using the reschedule button which takes them to the reschedule wizard.
