lightning Sync issues : not removing Syncs

Hi Team
My scenario :
For Test purpose , we configured Lightning Sync in Sandbox for User ( tesUser)  . its working fine .
Now , we configured in Prod for the same user 'testUser'.
its also working fine.
Now the problem is , User can able to both Sandbox & Production calender events his Outlook

So, we removed user from Sandbox, Now in sandbox, stopped getting new calender Syns.
But the problem, Old calender syns are still displaying even if we remove 'testUser ' in lighting sync configuration related to Sandbox

can you pls let me know , how can we remove old user's calender Syncs related to Sandbox ?

Thanks

Yes, it will affect for the specific user only(As per my knowledge (https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=outlookcrm_delete_item.htm&type=5)).

Unsure how to fix this but can you check if the following option is enabled -  'Delete Synced Events'

>Edit the Event syncing configuration

1. Go to setup
2. On the quick find, type in  “Outlook Integration and Sync” and click on it
3. Expand on the Lightning Sync, scroll down and click on “Go to Configs”
4. Click on name (for example Danielle lee syncing)
5. Click “Edit” and on the “Items to be synced on Exchange” change it to “Events user selected”
6. Click on “Next”
7. Check the “Delete Synced Events”
8. Expand on the “Edit Field Mappings” under Events
9. Remove the unnecessary fields by click on the “x” icon
10. Click Save
