can I import contacts to salesforce from Google sheets?

Good afternoon, everyone! Hope you are safe and well. May I seek your kind advice, can I import contacts to salesforce from Google sheets? I have drop-downs and checkboxes in Sheets that don't carry through when I download as CSV and open in Excel, which I assume means it won't carry through to Salesforce when I upload my contacts? Many thanks!

>>Go to the 'contacts tab' and then 'tools'.

>>Then select the 'Import my Accounts and Contacts' option.

>>On the Import Wizard click 'start'.

>>Select 'other data source' then click next.

>>Locate your file and then click next again. At this point, you'll be able to customize data fields. ...

>>Click 'Import Now'.

Hi, dear Abhishek - I profusely apologize for the delay. I was traveling but this is no excuse. Thank you so much for your kind help. I apologize for not being clear. Creating the new fields in Salesforce seems to work well, and the issue that I am facing is that contacts in my Google sheet already have dropdown values in the new fields I created, but they don't translate over to Salesforce. I am happy to jump on a quick call and screenshare if helpful. Thank you so much again, Flavius

Hi, dear John - I profusely apologize for the delay. I was traveling but this is no excuse. Thank you so much. I apologize for not being clear. A few contacts already have selected checkbox items in the google sheet that do not translate to Salesforce. The support resource from Google does not mention this use case. I hope that you are safe and well, Flavius

Yeah, you can! Skyvia provides a convenient way to load data from Google Sheets to Salesforce (https://skyvia.com/data-integration/integrate-salesforce-google-sheets). You can do it without any coding directly in your browser.
