owner case comment from flow

Hi There!
I have a flow that is launched from a Case, does some tings, posts a comment to that case, and moves on.

If i put a case comment as normal (from the case) it sends the case owner an email notification of the comment.
But, when i have a flow create a new Case Comment, the case owner doesn't get the notification. The comment posts as expected, but no email is triggered.

And since this email is a system default...i can't have a flow action do it.
Any suggesteions are greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

Hi Mathieu,
No, i wasn't able to figure out how to get it to send automatically. I ended up creating and sending my own email in the flow.

Send Email Core Action

It ended up being "good enough"

Can you check if the following permission is enabled as per this help article?

To check if “"Notify Case Owner of New Case Comments"” is enabled.

Please follow the following steps:

Classic: Setup | Build | Customize | Cases | Support Settings

Lightning: Gear Icon | Setup | Feature Setting | Service | Support Settings

From there, you can see if the “Notify Case Owner of New Case Comments” is enabled. If not and you want to enable it, please follow the following steps:
Click “Edit”
Tick the checkbox after “Notify Case Owner of New Case Comments”
Click “Save”

Hi Anudeep,

Thank you so much for the response. However, that checkbox is already checked in my org.
