help text limit increase

Experts,
currently for help text limit is 255 character ,
can some one please guide how we can increase limit using visualforce page ?
i am new to visualforce page so very helpfull if you can guide on elobarated way

Currently the limit as you have mentioned is till 255 characters however, there is an idea about increasing the character limit that to which you could upvote so that the team may consider it in the future.
