How to restrict a user from editing/creating 'campaign member status' record?

Users are able to see the 'campaing member status' related list in campaign page. Wanted to restrict users under certain profile from editing/creating  'campaing member status' record.

Hi,
Go to Campaign page layout there you can remove "New" button OR if you want you can remove the "Campaign member status" related list from the layout.
