Record Type Issue (bug?)

User-added imageWhen we choose the "Audit" r/t ONLY & NOT any other r/types, there is an ongoing issue when users disposition cases as “Audit”, it sometimes closes out the tab completely.
When this occurs, users have to close out all of their  remaining open tabs & re-open them back up again to resume working on them.

Any solutions/fixes/updates regarding this?

We use Google Chrome since it is SF friendly.

Yes agree, but just wanted to confirm if this is any browser issue. Because this not any regular kind of error nor we have any functionality that will close the tab. Kindly check and confirm.

I have selected a user to run M.S. Edge as the browswer for tomorrow's session to see if we can mimic the same issues.  I shall report back on my findings.

Priya, after using Microsoft Edge + Chrome, the user is facing the same issue in both types of browers and I witnessed it this morning.
