Knowing its salesforce limits that Long text field is not available for inline editing, any workaround so far though?

As per the below idea this is not possible still and limitation by salesforce. Consider to upvote the below idea so salesforce can deliver it based on the votes and priority.

In the above Idea some user commented of managed package which allows you to do but not sure if that could help you.
