Change default Community domain name?

Hi
I have clumsily set the incorrect default community domain name. Is it possible to change the domain name? Salesforce Support cannot help but implied that it can be done.
Any help appreciated!
Thanks
Robbie

Hi Robbie,
Support organization has the ability to change the force.com domain name with the proper validation. You can log a case. Keep in mind any domain name change might take up to 24 hours to be effective and the old domain name won't be valid.

Thank You

Hi Robbie,

You can Manage your Domain:

The Below Link should be useful for you as it clearly shows how to manage your own Domain Change its name, etc.

* For Example if your domain is set to http and you edit the domain to use https instead,
you must republish the non-community Site.com sites that are attached to the domain.
* You can add a custom URL to an existing domain, rename a domain, update its HTTPS service option, activate changes to a domain, or delete a custom URL from
  a particular domain

Note -  You can’t edit a domain record whose name ends with .force.com. To rename the domain, contact Salesforce Customer Support.

I hope you find the above solution helpful. If it does, please mark as Best Answer to help others too.
