Reports for Custom Object

How can I run a report on all the custom fields in an custom object?

Hi Atul,

1. Make sure you have all these permissions:
  • Reports are enabled on the custom or external object.
  • You have access to the object and its records.
  • The object and its custom report types are deployed.
2. Add the fields in the existing custom report type. If there is no report type create new report type with your custom object. Scroll down to see Fields Available for Reports panel click edit layout. Drag and drop the fields from right under view. However there are limitations on how many fields can be added.
3. Once you fields are added switch to classic. Drag the whole folder of the object having all fields below the preview panel (Untill your drag button turns green). All the fields are now in your report. Save and Run.
