How to click on the email field to send an email

Is there any way I can setup the email fields that they are clickable?
I would like to be able to click on the email address and to be redirected to a blank email with the said email address

Hi Aidel. This is the default configuration for email field type. 
You can check it from https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/atlas.en-us.object_reference.meta/object_reference/field_types.html

In the user configuration you can choose if you want to send email from the salesforce email or from your default email application. For check it go to salesforce and then click on the image of the user, settings>Email>My email settings

For some reason, my field does not do this by default. Why would this be?

This is the standard email field on contact. How do you see this field?

Hi Aidel,
Is the user's profile System Administrator?
If not, Can you please check if the permission to send an email is enabled from Profile??
