Dynamic Dashboard Limit Increase for Scratch Org Config
I am attempting to use scratch orgs for development with an FSC org. With standard FSC, FSC Referrals, and FSC Commercial Banking, you hit the scratch orgs limits for Dynamic Dashboards. In order to work around this, I must manually delete some of the dashboards, to successfully install all of the FSC packages in the scratch org. The Production Org has an increase to this limit, so I was hoping there was a Config setting I could set in the Scratch Config that could increase the limit for Dynamic Dashboards. I did not see anything in the documentation regarding dashboards though..
Unfortunately, the Dynamic Dashboard limit cannot be increased in a Scratch Org due to the nature of this environment. Increasing the limit of Dynamic Dashboards is a paid feature request. See:
https://help.salesforce.com/apex/HTViewSolution?urlname=Increasing-maximum-number-of-dynamic-dashboards&language=en_US
The limit is based on the Scratch Org Edition:
• Enterprise Edition: up to 5 per organization.
• Performance and Unlimited Edition: up to 10 per organization.
• Developer Edition: up to 3 per organization.
The settings defined for scratch orgs are not modifiable. If the features available to the scratch org are insufficient you might want to consider using a sandbox instead.
Please mark this answer as best if it helps!
Thanks
Dynamic Dashboards limit is not available as a config setting https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/metadata-coverage/48
My understanding is there isn't any config setting because this is a paid feature request. There appears to be only one way to increase the dynamic dashboards limit and that is to purchase additional licenses as per https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=000336671&type=1&mode=1
If you would like to add more Dynamic Dashboard licenses to your sandbox without refreshing, please review Match production and sandbox licenses without a sandbox refresh - https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=000335272&type=1&mode=1&language=en_US
Please contact your Account Executive for more information on increasing those limits. Thank You!
