How to create a campaign in a developer account?
I have a developer account for Salesforce sales cloud. I am seeing the Campaigns page but I am missing the 'New' button there. I tried to edit my user to get access to the marketing cloud, but it says that marketing cloud is not enabled on my account. The link to create a ticket is broken.
How do I go about creating a campaign in a developer account then? Thanks.

Go to the respective user details and enable the "Marketing User" and save it.

Thanks!!
In order to have the "New" Campaign button appear, Administrators must ensure that the "Marketing User" permission is enabled on the User Detail page of the User who needs access to create a campaign.
Go to the User detail page from Setup
In Salesforce Classic: Setup | Manage Users | Users
In Lightning Experience: Setup | Users | Users
Locate the User and click on the Edit button.
Select Marketing User.
Click on Save.
Note: Once the Marketing User permission has been enabled for the user, verify the Create permission for Object via Profile or Permission Set is enabled. Make sure to verify if the page layout has the "New" button added.
The New button can also be hidden in the Campaign Search Layouts. To ensure the New button is listed on the buttons displayed in the Campaign's list view, follow the click path below:
Classic: Setup | Customize | Campaigns | Search Layouts | Campaigns List View
Lightning: Gear Icon | Setup | Object Manager | Campaign | Search Layouts for Salesforce Classic | List View
