What permissions required to upload/access files

Hi,

The Cast Iron user used to upload/access files into/from salesforce but from few days cast iron job is failing and throwing below error. 

 Error while trying to activate activity. Error is: Object type "contentversion" is unknown.

 I didn't see contentversion object permission in Profile permissions.

  1. All users can update versions in their personal library.
  2. The owner of a version or document can update the document if they are a member of the library, regardless of library permissions.
  3. To update a Salesforce CRM Content document, the user must be a member of the library with one of these library privileges enabled:
  • “Add Content”
  • “Add Content On Behalf of Others”
  • “Manage Library”
  • FileType is defined by either ContentUrl for links or PathOnClient for documents, but not both.

Hi Raj,

Thanks. My requirement is pretty simple. Cast Iron need to upload the files under the opportunity object. The job is running successfully until last Wednesday after that it is started throwing below error.
 
Error while trying to activate activity. Error is: Object type "contentversion" is unknown.
Cast Iron team saying that they are not able to access contentversion object and asking to give the permission. As you said all users can upload the documents but not sure why they are getting an error.

The strange thing is they are able to upload the documents in developer sandbox but not in QA /Prod sandboxes
