Rahul Bansal 22 Question : Send email notification on downloading a file from chatter post.
We have a requirement to send an email notification when a file/docx/pdf etc is downloaded from a chatter feed. Is this feasible ? Here the receiver should be the owner of that attachment/chatter post.
Salesforce only provides a report to view how many likes,downloads etc have been made.
If you wish to notify the owner lf the file(who uploaded it),then it js the chatter feature that the post in which you are tagged or related it notifies through email to you.
This way the owner can be notified.
Capturing the event might not be possible.
