Display Message in Search Results

Hey,

I was wondering if there was a way to display a message or have a pop-up window happen when using the search box for a specific term such as "mountains".

I dnt think so its possible ..  are you taking about salesforce global search 

the only workaround  now is  you need to create a custom visualforce page and create tab and use it ,,,
