Errors Have been detected in the OST file Message

Hello, I have been using Microsoft Outlook application for a long time. But yesterday when I try to open OST file I got an error message like this "Error has been detected in the file xxxx.ost. Quit Outlook and all mail-enabled applications, and then use the inbox repair tool (Scanpst.exe) to diagnose and repair error in the file" Please tell me to resolve this issue. Your help would be appreciated

Hi, I think you are getting this error because of OST file corruption issue. There are multiple reasons for this OST file corruption. Like due to Virus or any malware infection, abrupt system shutdown issues, or any software or hardware related issues. So I will first suggest you to repair the OST file you can use Scanpst.exe ( Inbox Repair Tool). In case if this won't work for you then you can use Microsoft OST Recovery (https://www.microsoftostrecovery.com/) software. It helps you to recover data from damaged OST file.
