what is the maximum number of workflow rules we can apply on one Sobject?

Is there any limit to apply number of workflow rules on one SObject?

Hi Chandrika,

By default, each object (or entity) is limited to 50 active workflow rules.

By default each object is limited to 50 active workflow rules additional volume is available up to 300 active workflows , Total  Inactive workflow rules limited to 500,Total workflow rule per organization Limited to 2,000 it applies to any combination of active or inactive workflow.
