Email Alert not trigger for inactive user

i want to write logic in process builder for 
when record owner is inactive then email alert should not be trigger.

Hi Amruta,

You can use porcess builder or workflow to achieve above functionality,  however Inactive Users will still show up on the email alert if the email alert has not been updated.  Try to simple edit the email alert and click on Save.

i have added owner in email alert. if in case owner is inactive and anyone trying to edit records that time perticuler email alert should not be trigger which include inactive owner.
can help me write logic for this condition.
Active Users with Chatter License will not be displayed in the Email Alert recipient list). If you recently deactivated a User that was on the recipient list of an email alert, you will notice that their name still appears in the list. However, when you click on Edit on the email alert, you will see that the deactivated User's name does not appear in the Selected Recipients list.
