Is your question related to adding a long text field to the list view? If so we can directly add it to the list view.

Can you specify what exactly the issue is?

On my lead object list view, I wanted to add a description field who's having data type long text area is 32000. when I am trying to add that on view it's not giving me any option.

Hi BhagyaShri,

You will be able to add the custom Long text field but not the description field. As of now this is not possible in salesfore due to limitation. Please check the below idea for the same.
