How do I add my Salesforce Trailhead Badges link to Linkedin Profile?

How does one add the Salesforce Trailhead Badges (link) on their Linkedin Profile? When I edit my Linkedin profile where do I do this?

I just added a badge that i've already had in my LinkedIn profile.
You can go to your LinkedIn profile and under Add certificate -> Certification Name & Certification Authority (Salesforce Trailhead).
That's it.

If you goto your profile [1] and click the trailhead link on the left [2] you get a link you can use

Thank you for your help. I should clarify the question as to where do you add this link in your Linkedin profile? Do I add it to my Linkedin profile summary or past job? I would assume it should go under courses, but there is not an option to add a link. Wondering how others add this info to their Linkedin profiles.

Hrm, I've not seen anyone post that as part of their profile.  You best option is probably to add it as a Link under Summary since it makes the most sense and seems to be the only place you can create a link.

I recently added a trailhead badge on LinkedIn and the system placed it under "certifications" automatically.

The Trailhead team just released a way to share you new badges on LinkedIn [1] and they'll be <safeHarbor>releasing something soon to share old badges</safeHarbor>

This feature is now enabled. Once you earn a badge, you will get an option to add in your LinkedIn Profile.

Hi All ,
I earned 25 badgets before the above feature launched. How can I add my existing earned badgets to linkedin profile ? Is there any way to do this ?

Ajay, you can add old badges by doing the following:
Complete a new badge from Trailhead, click share to linkedin, copy the URL it takes you to, and save the badge. Then paste the url and change the Certification Details to one of the old badges and save again. Paste the URL and repeat until you have added all old badges.

Yes Raneeth! There you will find "Save" option to show it on your linkedIn profile.

The new feature is not showing up in my LinkedIn profile after I click to add the badge. Do I need to look at my settings in LinkedIn or remove any previous "other" certifications for it to work?

If you want to retrospectively add your certificiations, while you're waiting for the Trailhead team to set up the link,  just manually enter the name of the Module / Project as the certification name & lookup Salesforce Trailhead as the Certification Authority (make sure you click the name that appears in the dropdown).

I'd recommend including a link to your trailhead profile too so that viewers can click through to see all of your badges.

Hey Karen,
You add it to the Certifications part of your profile. If you hover over the section the little grey "Add certificate" button will show up. Click that and boom you got yourself all the above fields. Have an awesome Thursday!

Did anyone else ever see the screen that @Dutta Sourav posted in Nov 2015? I do not. It sounds like the only way is to add them manually and type in the name (which means all of the icons will look the same). If you have any advice, please post.

So, what I've found out for myself is, LinkedIn and Trailhead will work together if I'm on Chrome. I don't remember if it works on Firefox. If I'm on IE (which I have to for work), it does not seem to work together, thus, I have to manually enter it into my profile. Manually entering the certification will look exactly how Trailhead inputs it in your LinkedIn page. It just take some time to do it manually, but you're not missing out on much by not having Trailhead do it for you. This might be the case for others, and it might not, but thought I'd share my 2 cents.

I was trying to get an answer of how to upload the badges I have earned, in logo form, to my LinkedIn profile.  Since I am not happy settling for typing them all in manually, I have a workaround:
  1. Go to your Trailhead profile and your badges section.
  2. Now open Word and use the Screen Clipping feature to make a screenshot of just the logos and their titles.
  3. Save the screenshot as a JPEG.
  4. Insert the image into your LinkedIn profile within your job area.
  5. I also added a general entry within the LinkedIn certification section as well.
  6. Check it out below!!  Presto...

Hello,

Does anyone know if you enter the unique badge certifications why you cannot add the specific badge photos to go along with it? I like the idea above to add in the badges under the job section but is there a way to get the individual badge to show up along side of the new certification on the bottom or will it always show the generic trailhead photo? Thanks

Hi Le Ann, 

If you wish to display a Trailhead Badge OR  Trailhead Superbadge on linkedIn, login into your linked in account and click +Add Certificates

The example Below Shows adding the Trailhead Superbadge called "Security Specialist"

Certification Name: Name of the badge as it appears on your trailhead account (for example here ... Security Specialist)
Certification Authority: Salesforce Trailhead OR  Salesforce Trailhead Superbadges (for example here we use Salesforce Trailhead Superbadges as "Security Specialist" is a Superbadge)
License Number: Leave it blank
Certification URL: Copy the badge URL from Trailhead (for example here...click on the badge in your Trailhead account and copy "https://trailhead.salesforce.com/en/super_badges/superbadge_security" (https://trailhead.salesforce.com/en/super_badges/superbadge_security)
Dates: Date you got your badge

My two cents: I think it's best to put all Trailhead badges as one Certification on LinkedIn with a link going to a public Trailhead profile which shows all of the badges as I have done at https://www.linkedin.com/in/upton. Badges can take as little as 30 minutes to complete. It's not typical to put a line on a resume for an accomplishment which can take as little as 30 minutes.However, one line for many badges seems reasonable since many badges show a bigger effort and accomplishment.

Hello all, I am relatively new to Salesforce and Trailhead.  I have had my Admin 201 cert for about 2 weeks now.  I am completing badges online but am unable to share them on LinkedIn with the built in tool I see described above.  I am using Google Chrome as my browser and only see the option to share with Twitter and Facebook  Attached is a screenshot of what I am seeing on my end: User-added image

I am having the same issues. I had 25 badges on my LinkedIn and now none of the links link back properly. I also tried adding my 26th badge and LinkedIn no longer appears to be an option.

Me too... Very annoying! May just bung a certification in Linked In and include a link back to my profile... would be nice to do it 'properly' though!

I don't think the LinkedIn badge insertion is an option anymore.  You can either add a link to your trailhead profile in the "Accomplishments" section (towards the bottom) or another suggestion was to upload a screenshot of your badges.

I agree with Rick, I have chosen to add a single certification to my LinkedIn profile that links to my Trailhead profile, with the number of badges in the certification title (e.g. "3 Salesforce Trailhead Badges"), which then be manually updated when I gain new badges.

Hi All,

The best way As let me is to add Trailhead by Salesforce as School in education section and Profile link in description. My thought process is as we earn badges / Superbadges as part of trailhead and it also give holistic picture of our Journey.
