Log a call action will not display on my objects.

Hello,

I am using Lightning and I am trying to populate my contact and lead objects so that the activities available are Log a Call, New Event and New Task, however; when I click and drag the Salesforce1 Action "Log a Call", it will not populate on the different object layouts that I am trying to add it to.

What could be the problem?

You need to recreate the Log a Call publisher as a quick action.  This help article is regarding cases - but it works for Lead/Contact as well.

I have tried this solution, but it also will not allow the Log a Call action to appear on the contact layout.

Log a call option is not displaying while adding to quick actionis.
Getting error as "Challenge Not yet complete... here's what's wrong: 
One or more of the quick actions were not added to 'Field Sales App' 
Note: you may run into errors if you've skipped previous steps."

Please suggest to nullify this error.
