can we resend email in salesforce if record is in submitt status and we dont want to edit that record.

Hi All
can we resend email in salesforce if record is in submitt status(means in submit status edit button will not be available) as we dont want to edit that record again. so how can we resend email again to user without editing the record. please let us know is there any option in salesforce

Jha,

You can create a custom button and write a javascript code with conditional script. If Status is Submit then only your button will work and then you can resend an email in salesforce. Choose this as best answer if it helps you, it will be easy for others to find out correct answer.

Hi Thanks for response. but problem is on that vf page i can't addd any custom button
