send email template

Hello,
 
How can I create a link, in case detail, to send to the contact an email template?
 
I've looked everywhere and couldn't find any info :(

i'm really new to s-controls but I guess it's possible to build one that sends an email template.

the goal here is to send an email template once a case is closed.

But what I (my users) want is a button or link they can click, this would send automatically the email to the contact. In a perfect world they wouldn't even need to click the button, it would go when the case status changes to "closed".

Use workflow rule (when status is set to close) with email notifications, all native functionality within salesforce.com, no programming required.
