field more 255 chars.

Hi,

I know there is currently no option available for a custom field to have more that 255 chars from the developer side. But If I will need a field greater to 255 chars. could you create it by my? ,  can't you do it? or you don't offer that type service o sopport.

Wow, that would be quite a precedent!  Sorry to say, we can't do this.  If you absolutley need a field bigger than 255, you could use a document to store the data.  Create a simple text document using the id of the object you want to customize, and put the long field in the document.  Then, when you fetch the parent object record, make a fetch to the document using the id of the parent for the document name.  No, it's not pretty, and will not show in the ui.
