Apex/Configuration Only Sandbox

As an EE customer we have an Apex/Configuration Only Sandbox available to us.  Can this sandbox be used to test integrations through the API?

Yes, you can.

We have done it for one of our client.

But you have to consider the limitation in your mind that it can only include 500 MB of data.
