How to get attendees in group event?

using the 4.0 SOAP API and .Net, how do I get the list of attendees for a group event (an event where IsGroupEvent=true)?

We are working to expose a new entity called EventAttendee, likely in the Winter release.

Today there's no good way to get all the attendees for a event.
