Convert Quotewerks Quote Documents to Opportunity with Products

Has anyone had any experience converting quotewerks documents to opportunities with products?

what's the format of the document, is it Excel file?

No, it's a propriatary format. The database however is access based. I have a pretty good idea how to do this now however it's not so easy.
