How to Import Activites

I am going to need to import Activity information into Salesforce.  I cannot find out how to do this.

Hi,

When you use .xls.connector, you can try by selecting the table to query as "Task".

You could also do Event.  These are actual calendar items with dates.  Tasks are activities with only a Due Date.

Tasks appear in the users Task list, Events in their calendar.  Both would appear in the Open Activity or Activity History section of a related object.

You could also use the data loader to do this as well as the Excel connector.  It may be faster depending on the volume you are importing.
