You can customize buttons on detail pages, related lists, and list views only.

  • To customize buttons on detail pages, edit the Cases page layout.
  • To customize buttons on related lists, edit the related list properties on the page layout where the Cases related list appears.
  • To customize buttons on list views, edit the Cases list view layout in Search Layouts.
  •

Following buttons can only be cutomized :

Cases Tab, List, View, Edit, Delete, Clone, Close Case, Accept, Close, Change Status, Related Case: Copy Parent Details, New

Is there anyway to remove/hide the standard Save & New button on the edit page of Salesforce. I don't want this action for my Users and I don't have control over the standard edit page layout of Salesforce unlike the detail page layout. Please let me now if this is possible in some ways in the standard Salesforce page itself.

Hi,

Did you resolve this problem.I'm also having the same issue.

If you have any solution for this ,can you please share with me.

Thanks,

Myra BMyra B

I think the only way to do that is to forbid this user profile from creating a case, then the button Save & New won't show up in Edit layout.
