Can Contact Queues be created?

Hello,

I am trying to create a queue for Contacts, we currently have two for leads, but there are no options in custom objects for Contacts is there a way around this?

No, queues are only available as owners of Leads, Cases and custom objects.

Is there w ay to mimick the concept of queue in contacts without resorting to cases or custom objects?

The primary reason for this request is to create a 'shark tank' in which our salesman have to 'fight' for contacts.

Some thoughts:

* A custom view which belongs to an admin and all saleman can view

Any worthwhile suggestions?
