Error : Automation server can't create object (ActiveXObject)

Hi,

When I am trying to use "ActiveXObject('Word.Application')" in my code, it throws an exception saying "Automation server can't create object" in IE7. Can anyone help me out for the solution of this problem?

Thanks in advance.

You have a COM problem there, or some kind of security issue.  You're better off asking this in a Microsoft-focused Google Group because it doesn't have much to do with Salesforce.com.

Is Word marked as safe for scripting? seems unlikely as it can access the local filesystem.

The solution that worked for us was located here based on the Java settings in Internet Explorer 8...

I disagree that going to a google microsoft forum was the 'approved Solution!'
