cribis Dated Currencty Conversion
I am turning on the data currency exchange and am needing to update the exchange rate on each opportunity more frequently than when the amount field on the opportunity is update or when the opportunity is closed. We will be updating the currency exchange rate once a month and need to see all of the opportunity amount (converted) reflect the current currency exchange rate automatically.
Has anyone had this type of business requirement?
SF provided advanced currency management and you can track opportunites with past exchange rates also. However, if you are not using advance currency management, Total Deal value changes when we update the exchange rates. Obviously, it affects the reporting also if you are doing reporting in converted currency
I have advanced currency management activated. How are you updating all of your open opportunities there is a currency conversion rate change?
