good ajax toolkit reference

Where can I get a real straight forward AJAX reference not this laic ajax guide that tells almost nothing?

Sorry the documentation is not adequate for your needs.  Have you tried looking here for additional samples and information?

Yes I did. I've learned most by looking into .js source codes.
