Need to know the port info of the Lead table

    Hi,
In our integration project we need to know the URL and the port info of the Lead table/database.I can see that we only have the API access.Is there a way to directly access the SFDC Database?

No, the web services API is the only programatic access to the data.

Thanks.Actually we are using a tool called pervasive to directly access the SFDC database.So we were trying to find out the port thru which SFDC can be accessed

The pervasive tool uses the web services API, it may present an interface that looks like the DB, but it talks to salesforce over the webservice API
