how to extend the interface,if the picklist value is too large?

Hi,
 
I've created two picklist fields EmpId and EmpName.When i choose a EmpNo and EmpName, it seems to break the interface for some of the longer employee names. Is it possible to extend the interface as this is out the box functionality?

What do you mean, "break the interface?"

What i meant is that the title of title of the interface(Dependent Fields) is not highlighted till the end of the Employee Name text.
Means the title is not extended till the end of the dependent field which is bit large text.  
 
Say example, when i add the controlling field's text size is 10,   dependent field size is 150, then when i double click on any of those two custom fields on edit, it opened up the interface with the title "Dependent Fields" . when i select the Employee No, the lengthy Employee name which broke the highlighted title not coming till the end of the employee name.
