change contact record ownership.

Hi chaps,

We have imported all of our contacts as the administrator and hence no users can see any contacts. Is there an easy way to modify the ownership of contacts, without performing a fresh import.

Assuming that if you're here, your org has API.

Repeat after me: "The sForce Data Loader is my friend."

You can re-do the import with the Data Loader, matching by Contact ID, and change the record owners en masse within the .csv.
