Customizing Lead Import Wizard

Hello All,

Is there a way to customize the Lead Import Wizard? To be more specific, Can i specify "Phone no." for the Matching type options instead of the currently available options (name, email...) while importing leads from a CSV file?

I don't think so. But there are definitely partner tools that can be more flexible.  One that I like alot is DemandTools by CRM Fusion

I fear these are expensive..
but surely, i got an idea regarding de-duplication and its factors...
So we decided to develop our own de duplication utility..
