Approval Comment textbox (on request submission)

Hi guys

When I submit a custom object for approval, it does NOT prompt me for an approval comment.

On reassign, recall, approval, and reject actions it DOES prompt me for a comment.

How do I get the approval request submission to display the intermediary page to prompt the user for a comment?  Is there a setting for this?

Hi Alex,

Even i faced the same issue and could not really tweak it a bit :(

The approval process is very tightly configured and in case you wanna tweak it with respect to features like UI, pages or comments, then you have to customize the whole thing and re-build it custom!

It is doable and very much possible but of course, comes with a lot of effort and the risk of moving away from the standard features/process available out of box.
