remove "Assign using active assignment rule" button?

My organization doesn't have a need for the "Assign using active assignment rule" button--is it possible to remove or hide it from the New Lead page?

Yes, I found it....

 

Go to the editor of your Lead page layout and you'll find a button called 'Layout Properties' on the top right of the page .

 

Click on it and you will find that in the popup you can edit the options for the 'Lead Assignment checkbox'.
