Detail button for exporting a report to Excel

Hi,

I've managed to create a list button that links to a report.
but I need to link directly to the "Export" button of the report.
i.e. I want to have a 1-click excel button.

Any thoughts on how to do that?
I've seen no steady URL for the Excel export button.

Thanks, but I do hope someone will come up with an answer avoiding visualforce. I only want a link to something that exists already.
