How to remove/hide unwanted standard reports?

Hi All,

 

In my application i am using a few standard objects like contacts, products, Reports etc, but in Reports tab it shows all standard object's report. I want to remove/hide those reports like Lead reports, sales reports...etc. Is it possible?

You should create new folders for your custom reports and then grant access. You can also hide the standard report folders using the folder permissions. If there is a standard report you want to expose to your users, just open it and then "Save As" and place it in your custom folder.

As per your advice custom reports can only to move to the folders. How to hide the standard reports like sales reports, activity reports for the system admin profile. Please let me know your suggestion

I am looking for the same thing.  As a system admin, I do not want to have all of these reports that I don't use or care about in my list.

 

Any thoughts?
