Connect to SAP

Dear all

 

Do anyone have some documents about setting up a connection between SAP and SFDC for customer management, contact,..... I'm a amateur about this. please help.

There is something called SAP connector that can be enabled for your organization if you requiest support. However, Most of the organizations use either 3rd party tools like Caste Iron. You can also use SAP to make API calls to Salesforce.

Mainly the API calls are nothing but Web Service calls that SAP makes to SFDC.

 

You can get WSDL file containing the default Salesforce Web Service API Specs from your SFDC Org and can then import the same within SAP DEV environment.

SAP XI can be used to make those Outbound calls to SFDC. SAP XI is an SAP's Enterprise intergration Infrastucture.
