Thanks for your help!!! How would I find postal codes that are in a custom field text(10) that are only 4 characters long as the leading 0 was supressed?
Probably the easiest way would be to create a new formula field that calculates the length of your field. you can then run your query using that formula field as a filter.
One last question....As I am new to all of this, I am looking for an tool so that I can write SQL commands to my salesforce data...ie: updates, deletes, inserts...what would be your recommendation for the best free interface tool?
There is no length function. (I'm assuming to refering to SOQL)
