How to restrict privileges for a Lead Record Type?

Hello everyone!

 

I would like to know how to avoid people to see Leads with a specified record type?

 

Is there any way to do this with Profiles?

Go to the Profile and don't click "Edit" but instead scroll down the page to Record Type Settings and you can set them there.

If I do this I avoid them to create new Leads with this record type, but they keep seeing the Leads created with this record type...

That is why we used it: the User can see the data but they can't create that type of record (for us it was the ability to create a Contact-Customer but not to create a Contact-Employee).
