Validation Rule for Task Field - Field Label of Type

I need help creating a validation rule so when the type of default of None is not changed the user receives an error message that they must select a Value other than the default None.

Can you just remove the default value of None by providing an actual default value?

If I have set default value there is nothing in place to make sure the rep changes it to the appropriate value. In speaking with Sf support they told me I need a validation rule.
